This Privacy Policy explains how Longfare, LLC (“Longfare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Longfare mobile app and the websites at longfare.com and app.longfare.com (together, the “Service”).
To build your plan, the app lets you enter and save information such as your age, sex, height, weight and goal weight, activity level, dietary style and foods to avoid, planned and eaten meals, weight history, exercise, coffee/tea entries, and free‑text notes. This information — including any health‑ or nutrition‑related details — is stored locally on your device using standard on‑device storage. It is not transmitted to Longfare, and we cannot see it. You can erase it at any time by using “Start over” in the app or by deleting the app.
Longfare offers an optional auto‑renewing subscription. If you start a free trial or subscribe:
We use this purchase information only to provide, restore, and manage access to paid features. We do not use it for advertising.
The web version at app.longfare.com works the same way — your entries are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device. Our marketing site at longfare.com is a static site; if we ever add contact forms or analytics there, we will update this Policy first.
Because your content stays on your device, we use information only to: (a) operate the app’s features for you locally; and (b) provide and support optional subscriptions (via Apple and RevenueCat). We may use aggregated, non‑identifying subscription metrics to understand overall usage of paid features.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers needed to run subscriptions — Apple (payment and the App Store) and RevenueCat (subscription management) — and only as described above, or if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Your on‑device data remains until you clear it (“Start over”) or delete the app. Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their policies; you can manage or cancel your subscription in your device’s Settings, and you may contact us to request deletion of subscription data associated with your app user identifier.
Because we hold little or no personal information about you, most control rests with you on your device. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request or ask a question, contact us using the details below. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Longfare is a general‑audience wellness app and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us. Nutrition and weight‑management tools are intended for adults; minors should use the app only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or healthcare professional.
Your content is stored on your device and protected by your device’s own security (such as your passcode and OS protections). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but because we minimize the data that leaves your device, the associated risk is limited.
Longfare, LLC is based in the United States. Subscription providers (Apple, RevenueCat) may process limited data in the United States and other countries. By using the Service you understand that limited subscription information may be processed in the United States.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted where practical.
